Are you a Muslim woman looking for some elegant looking hijab styles for work? Well you have come to the right pace. We all know as Muslims we are required to cover up our bodies and that includes the wearing of the hijab(scarf) over our heads, although some might think because it’s the professional world, you can’t really wear your hijab for the reason that it wouldn’t go with the environment. You couldn’t be more wrong, there are several ways you can wrap your hijab to look professional and fashionable.

As a muslim woman going to work, you need to look as professional as you can be, so when it comes to the hijab, it is always preferred you stick to solid block colors. Solid colors means for the most part staying away from scarves that have several colors in them or a lot of patterns, all that can be very distracting and that’s kind of what needs to be avoided in an office space. When styling your hijab for work, also make sure you pin everything in place. This is not where you go for one of those whimsical styles where every end of your scarf is flying around, again, we need to avoid distraction as much as possible and trust me, flying scarf is a distraction, especially if the other end of it is attached to a head. Be professional, your clothing choice shouldn’t be a distraction at work.

So basically the two major rules to keep in mind is, try to stick to solid colors and make sure everything is pinned in place, with that being said, let’s go ahead to go through some of the hijab styles you can rock to the work place.

1. Simple hijab style

This is one of the most easiest hijab styles out there. It is not only perfect for work, but it can pretty much pass as a hijab style for your everyday look, going out with girlfriends or just out for errands. There is elegance in simplicity, just because it’s simple does not mean it shouldn’t be used. This is a style that will also save you tons of time, when getting ready in the morning.

Steps:

· Drape a long rectangular scarf over your head with one side longer than the other.

· Pin up both sides of the scarf together under your chin.

· Flip the longer end of your scarf behind your opposite shoulder.

· Flip the same end back to the front of the other shoulder.

· Spread both the ends of your scarf so that they cover your chest.
