Cucumber facial toner

What you will need for this:

  • ¼ cucumber – you don’t need to peel
  • 1½ tablespoon witch hazel
  • 1 tablespoon distilled water
  • Lemon juice


  • Add the cucumber, witch hazel, and the water into a blender.
  • Blend in bursts.
  • As you blend, keep adding lemon juice to the mixture until smooth.
  • Then you sieve the entire mixture and throw out the solids
  • Put the juiced product in a jar or bottle with a tight lid, and store in the fridge
  • You can use everyday on your skin by applying with a cotton pad.

Green tea facial spray

What you will need for this:

  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 bottle of water


  • Put your two green tea bags in a spray bottle filled with water.
  • Allow the tea bags to steep in the water for hours.

And yup, it’s that easy, you have yourself a toner. And what is great about this is you can use it any time of the day, to rejuvenate and rehydrate your skin. You also don’t need a cotton pad for this.  Just spritz it and you are good to go.

Parsley facial spray

What you will need for this:

  • ½ cup parsley (chopped)
  • 1 cup boiling water



  • Put your chopped parsley into a bowl
  • Add in the boiling water to the parsley
  • Let it steep in the hot water for about 20 to 30 minutes
  • Strain the parsley and store the juice in a spray bottle.
  • Make sure to refrigerate. Now you have a great way of utilizing parsley before it all goes bad.

Rose water facial spray toner

What you will need for this:

2 cups rose petals

3 cups water

Drops of chamomile oil



  • Put the water and rose petals in a pot and bring to a boil to create rose water
  • Add in a few drops of chamomile oil
  • Let the mixture cool before putting it into a spray bottle
  • Store in the refrigerator.

You can use this any time of the day onto clean skin to get the antioxidant benefits of rose water and chamomile. Rose water is also known for its soothing effect.


Hibiscus facial toner

What you will need for this:

1 cup water

½ cup dried hibiscus or 4 hibiscus tea bags

1 tablespoon witch hazel



Boil the hibiscus in the water until it boils.

Take it off the heat and let the hibiscus steep in the water for 10 minutes

Sieve out the dried hibiscus or if you are using the tea bags, just take them out.

Add in the witch hazel

When it cools, transfer into a spray bottle.

How do I know if I react?

Apply on a little part of your neck first and check in 24 hours if there is any reaction. If not, then you are good to go, use your toner as you wish


How long should the mixture last for?

On a shelf, with a closed lid, it should last about 2 to 3 weeks. Refrigerate to increase shelf life to 1 month or possibly a month and 2 weeks. Find out other skincare products that need to be refridgerated here. 


Do I wash my face after applying any of my mixtures?

No, you do not. You wash your face before using a toner and in order to get the maximum benefits of it, you leave it on your skin without rinsing off.
